Home For The Holidays
Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina in the morning! I love any excuse to go home to NC and the holidays are no exception. Leaving the fast pace of LA and heading to NC can be jarring at times but it's usually a welcomed change of speed. Also, considering I live so far away from my family, I love that I get to spend so much time with them when I go home for the holiday break.
The weather stayed in the 70's and 80's during my visit which isn't your typical Christmas temps but I absolutely loved it. I wore shorts 3 days I was home. My kind of Christmas!
Next time you are in Raleigh, stop by one of my favorite watering holes, The Raleigh Times. Get the kale salad and their sangria. I enjoyed an awesome night out here with my sweet friend Haley. After, we headed over to Coglin's where we danced way too much to 80's and 90's hits. Pretty sure we worked off all of our holiday calories there.
You know no Melinda in NC trip is complete without a stop at the Dean Dome! It's always great to see the boys in blue in Chapel Hill... especially when we beat the pants off of the opponent!
