The Carolina Inn’s Halloween Potions to Try!

The Carolina Inn, A Destination Hotel in Chapel Hill, North Carolina is getting into the Halloween spirit this season with two must-try cocktail recipes for only $12 each. The charming hotel’s signature restaurant, Crossroads Chapel Hill, which recently announced its new Executive Chef, Brandon Sharp, is offering a classic Pumpkin Martini with a twist, as well as a very literal and unique Dragon Eye Martini .

Located on the University of North Carolina campus, The Inn is just a 7-minute walk from downtown Chapel Hill.

Dragon Eye Martini


  • 1 oz. Malibu Rum
  • 1 oz. Midori
  • Splash of Roses Grenadine
  • Topped with OJ (shaken and served Martini style)
  • Eyeball is lychee, blueberry and red jam


Pumpkin Martini

  • Rum
  • Pumpkin Puree
  • Maple Syrup
  • Cinnamon
  • Vanilla
  • Lemon Juice
  • Egg Whites
  • Bitters
  • Garnished with a Cinnamon Stick, Lemon and Star Anise
