Protein Packed Cinnamon French Toast

In an earlier post, I mentioned that I loved making a Cinnamon French Toast recipe from Protein Powder Cooking...Beyond the Shake. It's quickly become my go-to breakfast choice as of late so I wanted to share the goodness with all my faithful readers.

First up, I take one scoop of protein powder and mix it with 1/4 cup of egg whites (or Break Free because there were no cartons of egg whites when i went to the store). I throw in a few dashes on cinnamon and mix it all up into a nice batter.

After the batter is completely mixed, I dip a slice of whole grain bread in and make sure both sides are equally covered. When each slice (I do two) is good to go, I throw them in the pan to cook for a few minutes. It takes maybe 5 minutes or for the slices to properly brown, if that.

I love to top wth sugar free syrup just like I would regular french toast or pancakes. Bam! Super yummy! Packed with protein! Low cal!
