I was lucky enough to be able to attend a preview party for Kendra Scott's Spring 2018 Collection at the Kendra Scott store in North Hills this past Sunday and y'all, I fell in love. I've always heard of Kendra Scott and how everyone was obsessed with her pieces but have never gone to the store. When I was invited to preview the line, I jumped at the chance.
It's Christmas time and you're likely racking your brain trying to figure out what to buy for your friends and family. However, you can't forget to TREAT YO SELF! Here is a few of my fave items that I highly suggest purchasing for yourself this holiday season!
I am going to apologize in advance for the slightly lazy journalism that is going to follow but I have a million things to share and I am just SO EXCITED!!! Check out some of my current obsessions and become obsessed with them as well.
Last month, I was invited to check out ALICE + OLIVIA's festival-themed See-Now-Buy-Now runway show at NeueHouse in Hollywood. After seeing a bit of the collection and the celebs that would be in attendance (Emily Ratajkowski, Kourtney Kardashian -- just to name a few), I knew I had to invite my partner in crime, Shelby! When we arrived, we were immediately handed champagne to start the night off right.
A few years ago, I discovered the beauty of probiotics. According to WebMD (because I know nothing about science), probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that are good for your health, especially your digestive system. We usually think of bacteria as something that causes diseases. But your body is full of bacteria, both good and bad. Probiotics are often called "good" or "helpful" bacteria because they help keep your gut healthy. Learn more about the science behind probiotics here.
The fine folks over at Darn Tough heard that I go through running socks at the same speed I go through my disposable contacts and sent me over two pairs to try! New for Spring 2016, Darn Tough is dropping their Vertex Running Sock Series in some killer colors!
I am obsessed with my home state of North Carolina. That's literally no secret. Although I choose not to currently live there, I love the Old North State with every fiber of my being. The people are amazing, the food is great, and college basketball is like no other. With that said, I love buying any and all things NC to rep as much as possible in sunny Southern California.
When the Creatop team first reached out to me, I was a bit confused and a whole lot of skeptical. A topical spray that boasts your energy? Sounds a little suspect to me. They kindly sent over a bottle for me to test out and guys.... I was floored. After a few days of regular use before workouts, I could totally feel an energy boost. To top it off, it dries fast and smells great.
I recently had the pleasure of meeting a few ladies from the City Color Cosmetics team. After talking for a bit, they agreed to send over a few products so I could try and review. I expressed my obsession with bold eyes and lips so they provided me with a few items they thought i'd love. Spoiler alert: they did not disappoint!
I am constantly injuring myself in some random way. Scrapes from falling, paper cuts, accidental burns in the kitchen, it's always something. When accidents happen, I love using Green Goo® First Aid. It's not gloopy like most topical medications, it's in a round tin so you don't have to fuss with half empty tubes, and it doesn't smell weird! I love that I can throw it in my purse where it will live until my next accident.
If you know me, you know I am absolutely obsessed with wearing my FitBit every single day. I've had it for over 2 years and it's been everywhere with me. Workouts, concerts, and more importantly -- on the red carpet.
The team over at Funktional Wearables™ heard my "MY FITBIT DOESN'T MATCH MY RED CARPET ATTIRE" cries and sent over this beautiful bracelet that hides my tracker! Ever since receiving this awesome piece, I have worn it maybe 5 times a week and received so many compliments. Not only are these accessories super stylish, but they are also affordable!

One of my favorite boss lady's/fitness experts, Nadia Murdock, is currently offering a holiday fitness package to help you get through the holidays without so much guilt! This is also the perfect last minute gift for the fitness lover in your life or someone who is looking to get whipped into shape. Best of all, it's only $9. The amazing Busy Girl boss lady, Kristina over at Moroccan Magic shipped me a lip balm recently and I am officially hooked. Moroccan Magic is an artisan crafted lip balm infused with the purest high grade organic argan oil and a rich blend of organic herbs. Sure, i've used argan oil on my hair but never on my lips! Their lip balms are silky smooth, light weight, and ultra hydrating.
As a part of my job, I always end up finding out about the latest and greatest beauty products. Nerium is no exception. I first learned about the company a few years back through a work project and I have been a loyal user ever since. Their Age-Defying Night Cream is a staple in my nightly beauty routine. (Fun fact: it's only 1 fl oz so you can pack it in your toiletries while traveling.)
I first learned about BeBox in one of those super secret, super exclusive Facebook groups for #girlbosses that I am apart of. Okay. So it's not THAT exclusive but I digress. After just seeing the thumbnail, I grabbed my credit card so fast that sparks started flying. I had to have one!
One of my favorite things to do is brag on my friends! I especially like to brag on my friends when they are doing amazing things. My lovely friend Tina is the founder & creative director of Della - a Los Angeles-based fashion line that is changing the way people shop. They are a woman-owned and woman-run business working directly with a community in West Africa, providing jobs, education and skills training to their employees.
